The 2018 batyr Blue Tie Ball

August 18, 2018

The Ethical Partners team was proud to attend the batyr Blue Tie Ball on 18th August at the International Convention Centre, Sydney along with 700 others. Now in its sixth year, the Blue Tie Ball continues to be batyr’s signature event on the calendar. Initially designed to celebrate batyr’s birthday, the ball has evolved to be much more than this. Over the past six years, the sold out ball has continued to bring in a large number of young professionals keen to see change in the mental health space and contribute to an organisation positively impacting the lives of hundreds of thousands of young people.

batyr is a ‘for purpose’ preventative mental health organisation, created and driven by young people, for young people. It aims to smash the stigma surrounding mental ill health and empower young people to reach out for support. It helps create communities that support young people’s mental health and wellbeing. So far batyr has reached 149,065 young people, trained 535 young people to share their story and delivered 1,034 programs. MattNacard is a Non-Executive Board Member of batyr.
