Ethical Partners and AIME partner in Co-CEO program

November 7, 2022

In 2023 Ethical Partners are partnering with AIME to support a unique and innovative leadership development opportunity for a young Indigenous Australian leader.

The AIME Co-CEO program is a 12-month executive leadership opportunity designed to fast track the development of young leaders from marginalised backgrounds. The role of Co-CEO is to shadow organisational leaders, and in doing so, understand what it takes to lead organisations.

The current AIME Co-CEO in Australia, Rhian Miller, has had an incredible year, using this opportunity to set an example for the next generation “At the end of this program, I hope to look back and know that I’ve been a great example of what young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander kids can achieve. With 60,000 years of genius and imagination in our hearts and minds, I want the kids to know that we do not need to be defined through a lens of disadvantaged or labelled as limited. That we have the freedom to write a new story and that our potential is limitless.”

In 2023 Ethical Partners support will give this opportunity to young Indigenous leader, Susannah Winkelman, who is a proud Wiradjuri woman who grew up in the Central West of NSW and moved to Sydney at the beginning of 2018 to study at University, she is the first in her family to ever go to University and joined the AIME team earlier this year as an HR Intern through the CareerTrackers program.

Through the partnership between AIME & Ethical Partners we hope to provide Susannah with an exceptional development experience whilst also tapping into her knowledge, wisdom and story to bring an important & diverse perspective to how we operate.
